The Moixent Municipal Archaeological Museum houses materials from periods ranging from prehistory to modern times. The exhibition is divided into four chronological blocks: prehistory, Iberian culture, the Romans, and medieval and modern.
The section devoted to Iberian culture is the largest. It contains materials found at La Bastida de les Alcusses, and fragments of sculptures and architectural decoration from the Corral de Saus cemetery and the Camí del Bosquet burial site. An interactive programme introduces visitors to some of the secrets of Iberian writing, which is yet to be deciphered, and an audiovisual reconstruction of La Bastida is an excellent complement to the visit to the town.
